Rohde & Schwarz FSH6 Handheld spectrum analyzer 100 kHz – 6 GHz, RBW 100 Hz -1 MHz, LCD color display, preamplifier

The Rohde & Schwarz FSH6 spectrum analyzer is a wide band, very sensitive receiver. It works on the principle of “super-heterodyne receiver” to convert higher frequencies (normally ranging up to several 10s of GHz) to measurable quantities. The received frequency spectrum is slowly swept through a range of pre-selected frequencies, converting the selected frequency to a measurable DC level (usually logarithmic scale), and displaying the same on the CRT of the Rohde & Schwarz FSH6. The CRT displays received signal strength (y-axis) against frequency ( x-axis).

Some applications for Rohde & Schwarz FSH6 Spectrum Analyzers include Site Monitoring: Verify that the frequency and signal strength of your transmitter is accurate. Interference: Before a system is installed you use a Rohde & Schwarz FSH6 spectrum analyzer to verify that the frequencies (you plan to use) are not occupied or if the presence of a very strong signal will interfere with your new setup. Interference can be created by a number of different situations. Other tests that utilize the Rohde & Schwarz FSH6 spectrum analyzer features include antenna isolation, co-channel interference, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, intermodulation, microwave or satellite antenna alignment, and characterization of components.

The FSH is the ideal spectrum analyzer for rapid, high-precision, cost-effective signal investigations. Buying, Selling, Trading Rohde & Schwarz FSH6

The Rohde & Schwarz FSH Series is the ideal spectrum analyzer for rapid, high-precision, cost-effective signal investigations. It provides a large number of measurement functions to handle anything from the installation or maintenance of a mobile radio base station, to on-site fault location in RF cables, to development and service.

TDMA Power Measurements

The FSH performs time-domain power measurements within a timeslot of TDMA (time division multiple access) methods. All the settings required for the GSM and EDGE standards are predefined to make these measurements easier for the user. In addition, up to five user-definable instrument setups can be loaded into the FSH using the FSH View software.

Channel-Power Measurements

The channel-power measurement function is for determining the power in a transmission channel specified by the user. After a few preliminary settings have been made, a single keystroke starts the FSH’s spectrum measurement inside the channel, using a resolution bandwidth that is small relative to the channel bandwidth. The FSH then integrates the measured values indicated by the trace to obtain and display the total power. All the settings required for the digital mobile radio standards 3GPP WCDMA, cdmaOne, CDMA2000 1x are predefined ready for use. The FSH also takes the characteristics of the selected display mode (lin or log), the selected detector and the resolution bandwidth into account so that the result accuracy is comparable to that obtained with a thermal power meter.

Measurements on Cables (distance-to-fault)

For rapid and accurate determination of the distance to any faults in an RF cable. Distance-to-fault measurements using the VSWR Bridge FSH-Z2 give an immediate overview of the state of the device under test (return loss and distance). The marker-zoom function allows detailed analysis of faults with a resolution of up to 1024 pixels.

Requires FSH313/323/626 (with built-in tracking generator), option FSH-B1 (distance-to-fault measurement) and FSH-Z2 (VSWR bridge and power divider).

Scalar Network Analysis

The FSH313/323/626 (with built-in tracking generator) can be used to determine the transmission characteristics (i.e. attenuation or gain) of two ports such as cables, filters, amplifiers, etc, rapidly and with a minimum of effort. A simple calibration procedure compensates for the attenuation introduced by measurement cables or any attenuators used for amplifier measurements. When the VSWR Bridge FSH-Z2 is attached, the matching (return loss or VSWR) at the input or output of two ports can be determined as well as their transfer function. The bridge is screwed directly onto the RF input and tracking generator output, and no extra or cumbersome cabling is required.

Selling Rohde & Schwarz FSH8 – We Buy New Used FSH8 (‘s) Top Dollar Paid!

If you’re looking to Sell Rohde & Schwarz FSH8 Handheld Spectrum Analyzer

Rohde & Schwarz FSH8 Spectrum Analyzer

The R&S®FSH8 is a spectrum analyzer and depending on the model and the options installed – a power meter, a cable and antenna tester and a two-port vector network analyzer. It provides the three most important RF analysis functions that an RF service technician or an installation and maintenance team needs to solve daily routine measurement tasks. For example, it can be used for maintaining or installing transmitter systems, checking cables and antennas, assessing signal quality in broadcasting, radiocommunications and service, measuring electric field strength or in simple lab applications. The R&S®FSH8 can perform any of these tasks quickly, reliably and with high measurement accuracy.

Weighing only 3 kg, the R&S®R&S®FSH8 is a handy instrument. All frequently used functions have their own function keys and are within fingertip reach. The brilliant color display is easy to read even under poor lighting conditions, and it has a monochrome mode for extreme conditions.

The capacity of the R&S®FSH8 battery enables uninterrupted operation for up to 4.5 hours. The battery is changed within seconds. And if it rains? No problem – all connectors are splash-proof.

Power measurements on pulsed signals
By means of the TDMA POWER function, the R&S®FSH8 performs time-domain power measurements within a time division multiple access (TDMA) timeslot. To make work easier for the user, all required instrument settings are already predefined for the GSM and EDGE standards.

Channel power measurements
The R&S®FSH8 determines the power of a definable transmission channel by means of the channel power measurement function. A channel power measurement for the LTE, 3GPP WCDMA, cdmaOne and CDMA2000® 1x digital mobile radio standards is performed at a keystroke.

Field strength measurements with directional antennas
When measuring electric field strength, the R&S®FSH8 takes into account the specific antenna factors of the connected antenna. The field strength is displayed directly in dBµV/m. If W/m2 is selected, the power flux density is calculated and displayed. In addition, frequency dependent loss or gain, e.g. of a cable or amplifier, can be corrected. For simple result analysis, the R&S®FSH8 provides two user-definable limit lines with automatic limit monitoring.

Quick function selection via keypad and rotary knob
The R&S®FSH4/FSH8 is operated via the keypad and rotary knob. The selected function can be activated directly using the Enter button integrated into the rotary knob. The vertical design puts all operating elements within fingertip reach. The MODE key is used to switch between the various operating modes such as “spectrum analyzer“, “vector network analyzer“, “digital modulation analysis“ and “power meter“.

All basic settings can be conveniently made in a straightforward list. Measurement results, including instrument settings, are saved to the internal memory, the replaceable SD memory card or to a USB stick. Predefined instrument settings can be locked to prevent them from being changed unintentionally. This reduces the risk of incorrect measurements.

The USER key allows frequently required measurements to be collected in a single menu. User-defined instrument setups are assigned to softkeys under a user-definable name

Optimal reading of measurement results in any situation
The measurement results are easy to read on the brilliant, clearly laid out 6.5″ VGA color display. The backlighting of the display can be adjusted to the ambient lighting conditions. For use in extremely strong sunlight, a special monochrome mode provides optimal contrast.

SPECTRUM ANALYSIS – ANYWHERE, ANYTIME

Covering the 100 kHz to 3.0 GHz frequency range, with a built in standard pre-amplifier, the MS2711D handheld spectrum analyzer is the proven solution for installing, provisioning, maintaining and troubleshooting wireless systems and RF frequency spectrum interference issues. This portable spectrum analyzer features a built-in standard preamplifier in a compact, handheld design that can go “anywhere, anytime” with no backpack required. Ideal for field environments and applications that require mobility, such as site surveys and on-site system testing.

The Anritsu Spectrum Master is a synthesizer-based hand held spectrum analyzer that provides quick and accurate signal results. Measurements can be easily made by using the main instrument functions: frequency, span, amplitude and bandwidth. Dedicated keys for common functions and a familiar calculator-type keypad are available for fast data entry.
Automatic time and date stamping of measurement data of up to 300 results is provided as is storage and recall of up to 10 measurement setups. A large, daylight-viewable TFT color display provides easy viewing in a variety of lighting conditions. The Anritsu Spectrum Master is capable of up to one and one-half hours of continuous operation from a fully
charged battery and can be operated from an external power source (which also simultaneously charges the battery). Built-in energy conservation features can be used to extend battery life over an eight-hour workday.

The Anritsu Spectrum Master is designed for monitoring, measuring, and analyzing signal environments. Typical measurements include: in-band interference, transmit spectrum analysis, antenna isolation and cell area interference. A full range of marker capabilities such as peak, center and delta functions are provided for faster, more comprehensive
measurement of displayed signals. Multiple limit lines are available for creating quick, simple pass/fail measurements. A menu option provides for an audible beep when the limit value is exceeded.
